Meet our Staff

CAROL RICHARDSON
first started working for Quo Vadis on a part time basis in early 1995 while it was being run by Consultants in Care and while she was also working for Bromley Social Services, Carelink. In 2000, Carol became the manager of Quo Vadis’ new unit, The Coach House, in Sydenham which has become a well developed home. In the April of 2004 Carol took on management of Elmwood Lodge in Sidcup and we are now planning on registering the lodge as a 10 bedroom residential care home.
Qualified to Level 3 NVQ in promoting independence, she also holds a number of certificates in mental health awareness, substance abuse, health and safety, first aid and food hygiene and is currently studying NVQ Level 4 health and social care while attending a Registered Manager Award course at Lewisham College.
She has also provided on-site tutoring to a second year student studying a Diploma in Social Work from Bromley College.

LYNN SKEELS
began working at Bishops Lodge in 2000, she was promoted to Senior Support Worker in September 2004. In June 2005 Lynn began managing Queens Hall with the support of Rosemary Gallagher. Lynn is currently managing Kent House, the replacement for Queens Hall after it closed in June 2006.

OLIVIA AHWIEH
Joined Quo Vadis as a support worker in March 2005, became a senior support worker in October2006 and progressively became community support manager in November 2008.
Previously staff member of SOVA as a mentor for young offenders within the probation service and holds various achievement awards and certificates in relation to mental health.
“I see my role as a facilitator, empowering those under my care to produce a positive outcome- Olivia”.
Objectives
- To provide a range of specialist services commissioned by the local mental health trust.
- To provide a specialist care home for people with substantial mental health needs.
- To enable residents disadvantaged by ill health and challenging behaviour to live in the community.
- To facilitate and encourage residents to establish a level of independence compatible with their abilities and circumstances.
- To encourage residents to take control of and responsibility for their own behaviour, health needs and aspirations in an inter-dependent manner.
- To establish an integrated approach to support.
